Octa
One automatic movement, many complications
The Octa line is built on a single automatic base calibre with five days of power reserve, carrying, depending on the model, a calendar, moon phase, power reserve display, or sport functions.
The evolution of the Octa
In 2001 Journe unveiled Calibre 1300: an automatic movement in red gold with over 120 hours of power reserve, engineered as a platform for varied complications.
From this base came the Octa Réserve de Marche, Octa Calendrier, Octa Lune, Octa Chronographe, and Octa Divine — each variant using the same core mechanism.
The Octa Lune shows a large date, power reserve, small seconds, and moon phase on a single dial without appearing crowded — an example of Journe's arrangement logic.
From 2003 the case sizes expanded from 38 to 40 and 42 millimetres; dials appeared in guilloché gold and ruthenium.
